Hidden Gems

Edinburgh City Art Centre holds one of the finest collections of Scottish art. Some of it is familiar, but there is much that is less so. The exhibition Hidden Gems aims to put that right. Fifty works from the collection that have rarely, or indeed never been seen have been brought out. In a variety of media and ranging from the 18th century to the present, among many others the show includes works by Lucien Pissarro, Man Ray, Sir Joshua Reynolds, FCB Cadell, Bessie Macnicol, and Cecile Walton.
