Woman killed in Fife bike tragedy is identified

A woman pedestrian who died after a collision with a mo to cyclist has been named.

Joseph one F ernie ,53, died after the accident on the A 917 between her Anstruther hometown and Pittenweem in Fife.

Police, who are still investigating, said she died at 5: 55pm on Thursday after the collision with a Triumph TT600 motorcycle.

Emergency services attended but she passed away at the scene.

A 45- year-old man riding the bike was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee suffering from various injuries.
