Former Scottish Labour leader Kezia Dugdale won’t be suspended from the Scottish Labour Party as a result of her appearance on I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here... @Thehornyhaggis said: “Labour have imposed the ultimate cruel punishment on Kezia for appearing on I’m A Celeb, they’re keeping her in the party.” @bramallblade tweeted: “I think it is an absolute disgrace that @kezdugdale can swan off from her democratically elected parliamentary duties and abandon her constituents to appear on #Imacelebrity. One rule for politicians and one for the rest of us; I’d be fired if i did that.” @hughesjg said: “I speak as a @scottishlabour supporter/voter. A very disillusioned one. The new ‘leader’ had an opportunity to stamp [his] authority on the party here, and should’ve been seen to take action. Our elected representatives are there to serve the constituents, not themselves.”

The government has announced plans to extend the 16-25 railcard, which gives holders a one-third saving on the price of their ticket. Previously, the card could only be purchased by 16-26-year olds. @Drpetekirwan said: “Absolutely thrilled to hear this. Having a railcard until I was 30 was lifesaving during those late-20s years of mobility and financial insecurity; glad that my current and recent students will also benefit!” @Samcellis said: “I’m 31 and single. I don’t live in London. I travel by train a lot. Why isn’t there a railcard for me?” @adampayne26 added: “I for one cannot wait for Labour to officially unveil plans for the 16-45 railcard”
#BATMAN
Fans are weighing in with candidates to replace Ben Affleck as movie Batman. @Freakinclever suggested: “Idris Elba for Batman, please.” @glenndunks tweeted: “Nobody needs a new Batman. Not Jake Gyllenhaal, not audiences, not even the studio who should take a lesson from Justice League and know when to quit. Let the character rest.” @msmegwatson said: “A kid at my local pool just stood up in front of everyone and yelled “I AM THE NEW BATMAN” and frankly, I’m on board.”
