Thief caught after Doritos snack

A would-be thief has been caught orange-handed after waking up covered in Doritos during a break-in.

The intruder got peckish when he broke into a house in Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire.

He then scoffed half a pie and some Doritos before falling asleep.

Officers said that when the 46-year-old man eventually woke up on Monday evening, he was in handcuffs and police had arrested him.
