Dundee United Talent emerges

Sunday’s dismantling of Falkirk – it was threenil going on ten-nil – finally gave United fans a prolonged exposure to the supposed talent in the squad.

We Arabs are more than aware that we have, on paper, the strongest and highest-paid squad in the league, but that awareness has rarely been backed up by visible evidence.

On Sunday almost every player put in a performance that should have them looking in the mirror and asking why they did not produce that under the previous manager.

A word about Falkirk – a proper football club who can’t keep having their best talent stripped season after season. We are an example of what happens when that is allowed.
