Dumbarton Carswell breaks duck

-

Our good form continued at the weekend with another win and another clean sheet. That’s three in a row. To be honest, we were probably quite fortunate to come away with the record still intact as had Elgin secured a replay we couldn’t really have complained. Stuart Carswell’s first-ever goal, after 161 senior games, was the difference. It took a huge deflection, but you would be harsh to take it from him.

It’s back to league business this weekend and I will be surprised if our clean-sheet record is still going come Saturday night. Dunfermline have had our number in the past and usually put a few past us. But with Dimitris Froxylias returning along with Christian Nade, we are nearly back to full strength. Give me a 0-0 right now!
