Part of M90 closed after vehicle fire

Part of the southbound M90 was closed yesterday after a car caught fire.

Emergency services were called to the scene at Junction 8 near Milnathort in Perth and Kinross of the motorway at about 11:30am.

Fire and rescue crews were able to put out the blaze before one lane southbound was opened at around 12:15pm.

Both lanes were cleared by around 1:20pm, police said.
