Barca has world’s best-paid squad

FOOTBALL: Barcelona is the best-paid football team with a £6.6 million weekly wage bill, but, according to the 2017 Global Sports Salaries survey, the English Premier League has the highest average weekly wage, having broken the £50,000 barrier per player. Paris St Germain’s squad is second best paid at £6.472m and Real Madrid third (£6.224m).
