Push the boat out: New life for historic leisure vessel which dates back to Dunkirk landings

Boatbuilde­rs Richard Martin, 56, and Marie Mclaughlin, 30, restore the Starcrest 1922 flat bottomed leisure boat, which is thought to have served in Dunkirk. The craft, used to ferry passengers between Largs and Millport until the turn of the century, is being turned into a mobile classroom.
