Sepa permit first at Cromarty port

The Port of Cromarty Firth is the first port in Scotland to be granted a decommissioning pollution prevention control permit by the Scottish Environment Protection Agency under the latest legislation.

The regulations were updated in 2013 to ensure that emissions to air, water and land, plus other environmental effects, must be considered together.
