Dunfermline Key games ahead

With six teams still dreaming of the Promised Land, the Championship is, as usual,the most exciting of the four divisions. However, it has become a war of attrition, with injury, suspension, illness and loss of form taking their toll. Pars, with a tiny squad, are a shadow of the team which beat Falkirk, St Mirren, Inverness and Livingston. The match with Dumbarton, though, was, unexpectedly, memorable. Dimitrios Froxylias scored the most spectacular opposition goal in years and ref Nick Walsh, refreshingly, added time for time-wasting.

Our next three away games [Dundee Utd, St Mirren, Livingston] will define our season. Perhaps, Allan Johnston can ask Santa for a midfielder.
