Go-ahead moves on after strikes

The group behind strike-hit Southern Railway said it could now be “wholly focused” on improving service for long-suffering passengers after train drivers ended their lengthy dispute.

Go-ahead told investors yesterday that performance on the Southern service had “consistently improved” since union action has eased this year.
