Tampa Bay Lightning, who have the best record in the NHL, suffered a second straight defeat as they were beaten 3-2 by the Boston Bruins. The Bruins raced into a 3-0 lead against their Atlantic Division rivals with first-period goals from Charlie Mcavoy and Riley Nash followed by a third from Torey Krug early in the second. Andrej Sustr pulled one back for Tampa and a powerplay effort from Steven Stamkos early in the third period made it tense but the Bruins held on. NHL: Boston Bruins 3 Tampa Bay Lightning 2, Colorado Avalanche 3 Winnipeg Jets 2 (OT), Montreal Canadiens 2 Ottawa Senators 1, St Louis Blues 2 Anaheim Ducks 3.
