Visor can Boost Prescott’s filly at Southwell

- By GLENDALE

Boost can improve for her recent reappearance as she tackles the Betway Sprint Handicap at Southwell.

Sir Mark Prescott’s three-yearold showed plenty of promise on the all-weather at the beginning of the year, winning two of her three starts and finding the talented Gilgamesh a bit too good before embarking on a summer break.

Boost returned to action off an unchanged mark of 81 at Wolverhampton two weeks ago and even with the cheekpieces applied for the first time, she possibly did not give it her all in the finish.

That said, she was only beaten just over two lengths in fifth so she certainly has the ability.

Prescott reaches for the visor here and the application of a bit more headgear could help to focus her mind.

Trainer Stuart Edmunds can do little wrong at present so his Classic ben is of interest in the west Street North Creake “National Hunt” Novices’ Hurdle at Fakenham.
