Global firm to open first Scottish hotel
An international hotel brand has announced plans to open its first hotel in Scotland, which it says will provide an alternative to “traditional” offerings.
Yotel’s hotel will be at Erskine House in Queen Street, Edinburgh, and leisure chiefs said its “cabins” would offer technology-driven experiences. The hotel group operates four airport hotels in London Gatwick, London Heathrow, Amsterdam Schiphol and Paris Charles de Gaulle airports, plus three city hotels in New York, Boston and Singapore.
