Pair due in court over heroin seizure

A 30-year-old man from Liverpool and a 20-yearold local woman were due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday following the recovery of heroin with an estimated street value of around £4,000.

The drugs were recovered following an intelligence led operation in the Northfield area of the city on Sunday. Detective Constable Jack Saville urged residents to report any concerns they had and said: “We are committed to targeting those who are intent on spreading misery and harm in communities by dealing drugs.”
