Flu cases close hospital medical unit

A hospital medical unit has been closed to new admissions because a “small number” of patients have the flu.

Bosses at Arbroath Infirmary said measures were in place to control the spread of the virus. Anybody who suspects they could have the flu is being asked not to visit their friends and relatives until they are better. The number of patients struck by the illness has not been released by NHS Tayside.
