Ross County Lack of quality
On Saturday, we saw County’s worst performance under Owen Coyle. Once Dundee went ahead, it was difficult to imagine how County were going to break them down. Dundee played with a 3-4-3 shape that tucked into a back five, which is a trendy system in England but something not seen very often in the Scottish Premiership. Coyle continued with a settled 4-3-3, which had the potential to give Neil Mccann a headache, but in practice there was not enough quality.
As County slip into 11th place, there is plenty for Coyle to think about. He has nearly a month before he can bring recruits to mould the squad as he likes, but there is a lot of football before then and County need to improve quickly.
