Partick Thistle Wasted chances
Another winless game for the Jags. Having not played at Firhill for more than a month, a decent crowd saw Thistle create the better chances against Hibs but come up against a good keeper.
Yet again our inability to score when on top put pressure on the defence, although to be fair to them it took a freak of an own goal to beat us.
With a four-point gap opening up, this week’s game against Kilmarnock becomes very significant. A defeat would leave us potentially even more isolated at the bottom and whilst we have injured players to come back during this month there is a real fear amongst the fans that it could be too late. On Saturday I found myself concerned at our league position for the first time. I hope that changes this Saturday.
