Dundee No flash in the pan
A month or so ago, I reflected on how the team weren’t getting the results their play deserved. Without wishing to tempt fate, it seems we have turned a corner. Seven points from nine, including two clean sheets and our first away win this season, can’t be dismissed as a flash in the pan.
It’s surely no coincidence that we have started picking up points now we have settled on an almost definitive starting XI. Jon Aurtenetxe and goalkeeper Elliot Parish have stabilised a leaky defence, Paul Mcgowan has brought some frenetic energy to our midfield and Mark O’hara is in rich scoring form. While it will be necessary to rotate a little with six more games before the winter break, keeping a stable core of players in a familiar system will hopefully ensure that we continue to motor up the table.
