Aberdeen Limitations of Mcinnes

-

Anyone who thought that the speculation merry-go-round was going to stop after last week, myself included, was clearly optimistic or perhaps delusional.

However, after last week’s results there may be a growing feeling that Derek Mcinnes has reached his peak at Aberdeen. He has turned around a struggling club but is not able to take a team any further.

Personally, I hope he can learn from his mistakes and can take us further on, as I am grateful for what he has done to date. He may be conscious of his own limits, though, and see elsewhere a challenge similar to where we were four years ago. As an eternal optimist I hope that this is not the case but there may be a point where we have to change manager to push on.
