Mains of Taymouth Country Estate & Golf Course at Kenmore, near Aberfeldy has launched a comprehensive new buy-to-let holiday package at its Balloch Park development.

The bespoke timber lodges are priced from £179,000, and offer a guaranteed investment return, and tax savings.

The two and three-bedroomed properties, built from sustainable timber with eco-friendly credentials, are furnished to a Visitscotland five-star standard, ready to let, or buyers can purchase one as their own holiday home.

“We are delighted to launch this new high-yield investment package,” says estate manager Peter Bancroft.

“Our in-house team at Mains of Taymouth provides a professional, fully-managed lettings and maintenance service, making ownership stress-free for the lifestyle investors who can also enjoy their lodges as luxury countryside boltholes whenever they wish.” Sixteen individually designed lodges, with a high specification as standard, are available in the first phase.

The properties have custom-built kitchens with appliances, floor-toceiling windows, dressing rooms and ensuites.

Customised luxury additions, depending on the build schedule, can include everything from choosing wall colours to changing the internal layout and adding a logburning stove.

Each lodge has double glazing, high quality insulation and central heating.

The location is to the east of the main Mains of Taymouth estate with Drummond Hill on one side and the banks of the River Tay on the other.

Living at Balloch Park can also be on a permanent basis, should owners wish to retire or downsize to the estate. Buyers can buy a lodge as their own luxury holiday home, without any lettings obligation.
