Law firm Morton Fraser has unveiled a high-level appointment, naming Martin Glover as its human resources director.

Morton Fraser said its new HR boss would be tasked with implementing the firm’s people development strategy and “fostering a positive culture of learning throughout the business”. Chris Harte, chief executive of Morton Fraser, which has offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow and employs more than 270 people, said: “Martin is someone who can help us strengthen our approach to people development across the whole business.

“He has an impressive pedigree in the design and implementation of learning and development strategies across a wide range of organisations.”

Glover added: “Morton Fraser is a firm with a real sense of purpose about its own direction and future. It also understands that it can best serve its clients through developing its people and it is those two elements which drew me to the role.

“I believe I can help continue the momentum the firm has created in recent years.” 0 Martin Glover is set to join the practice from Monday
