Woman, 70, assaulted and robbed

A 70-year-old woman was assaulted and robbed in Glasgow.

Police said that at around 7:30pm on Thursday evening, the woman was standing outside the rear of the Scout Hall on Shaw moss road, glasgow, when she was approached by a man.

He then grabbed her and forced her to the ground. The suspect assaulted her and made off with items of jewellery and a mobile phone. The man responsible is described as Eastern European, aged in his late 30s and of slim build with short dark hair and thick eyebrows.
