Scientists creating maps of Antarctica have discovered a mountain is 377 metres taller than measured by dog-sleigh pioneering teams nearly 100 years ago. British Antarctic Survey data revealed Mt Hope is 3,239m tall – about 12 per cent higher than recorded in an expedition in 1936.
