Dashing through the city: Thousands gather for annual Santa run in Glasgow

More than 8,000 members of the public took part in Glasgow’s annual Santa dash yesterday.

The Santa dash has been held since 2006 and this year was the 11th gathering. In total, the event has raised more than £200,000 for charities in and around Glasgow.

The dash has established itself as a firm favourite in the city’s events calendar.
