Man assaulted with bottle in pub assault

A man was hit in the face with a bottle during a serious assault.

The incident happened in The Wee Mill public house on Baronald Street, Rutherglen, at around 12:55am on Saturday.

Police said the 30-yearold victim was approached by two men, one of whom hit him in the face with a bottle. They both made off, leaving the man with a serious facial injury. Those with information are asked to call police on 101.
