School hit by fire remains closed to pupils

A school hit by fire last week will be closed to all pupils today and tomorrow, parents have been told.

More than 200 pupils and staff were evacuated from Cairneyhill Primary School near Dunfermline when the fire broke out on Friday.

Dozens of firefighters fought to prevent the blaze from spreading from the centre of the building.

Fife Council said an investigation was ongoing.
