Jennifer White (Letters, 13 December) criticises Prince Harry for hunting boars, describing them as “other individuals who ask for nothing out of life but the chance to live it unmolested”.

I presume in the interest of intellectual honesty, she also makes every effort to prevent boars hunting its prey of mice, lizards, worms and other living creatures, because they also ask nothing but the chance to live life unmolested.

I also presume that Ms White follows her own advice and takes care not to harm, not only animals, birds and fish, but insects, spiders, plants, viruses and microbes, all of which would also prefer to live their lives unmolested.
