Dynamic duo: EDGE awards wins for Napier graduate entrepreneurs
A duo of entrepreneurs whose start-up ideas were brought to life during their time with Napier University have scooped funding of £10,000 each as part of the Scottish EDGE competition. Martina Zupan, left, and Sydney Chasin made it through to the finals of the Young EDGE and Wild Card EDGE categories respectively. Zupan’s start-up Alterwaste is focused on creating valuable sustainable materials out of waste by-products, and Chasin’s product Lil’ Pop is a healthy snack that is an alternative to popcorn. They were presented with their awards at the Royal Bank of Scotland headquarters in Edinburgh.
