Naysmith is impressed by Laszlo’s start

Queen of the South welcome Dundee United to Palmerston with manager Gary Naysmith not surprised to see the Tannadice side at the top of the table.

“I said at the start of the season that Dundee United had the strongest squad and would win the Championship,” Naysmith said. “They had a bit of a wobble if you want to call it that and that resulted in a change of manager. They have started well under Csaba Laszlo and despite keeping the same formation they are playing in a very different style. Their full-backs are pushed high and they look to play out from the back. However we are home and have done well against United before and will look to do so again.”

Queens have a spring in their step after a superb 5-2 win at Dunfermline and Laszlo warned: “We’re in the position now of being hunted. Our opponents will be looking to get the better of us and we need to handle that.”

Second-placed St Mirren entertain Dunfermline, while Inverness Caledonian Thistle welcome a Dumbarton side that sit above them in the table. The bottom two, Falkirk and Brechin City, face each other. Livingston host Morton.
