#DJKALEB

Severe winds struck the Atmosphere EDM festival in Brazil, causing the elaborate stage rigs to blow over. Caught in the collapse was 30-year-old DJ Kaleb Freitas, who was performing at the time and died from injuries sustained from falling debris. @_Coleman tweeted: “Thoughts go out to all those affected by the collapse at the Atmosphere Festival. #Edmfamily unite and show everyone love. I did lights for a long time and it hurts to see this kind of thing happen.” @djcarinamusic posted: “Sad news of what happened at the Atmosphere Festival. My condolences to family and friends of DJ Kaleb.” @annie_c_macs said: “Hey guys, next time a festival cancels or evacuates due to inclement weather don’t attack them for it. Understand that they only have your safety in mind – they lose thousands of dollars during evacuations but they must do it to protect you. My heart goes out to Atmosphere Brazil.”

#BIRDSPIKES

Residents in a wealthy area of Bristol in England have caused anger after installing spikes on trees to protect their precious cars from bird poo. @Lizyoun97992605 posted: “‘For some reason the birds like roosting here.’ Might that be because there are trees there and that’s where birds like to roost?” @Heatherly4pres added: “Yeah, let’s all feel guilty because there aren’t like a billion other trees and branches in the world. We lived in the trees before we evolved. They’re our trees too.” @ewenmacgregor said: “Not the finest hour for #Bristol. The resident conceded that some might view the practice as cruel but said there were many more trees nearby for birds to roost and nest in. Oh dear...”

#ALABAMA

Former Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore has not conceded the Alabama race six days after the decisive election. @donohue_rebekah said: “Is anyone really paying attention to Moore? I haven’t seen or heard anything about him on any news. I admit I refuse to listen to Fox, it makes me too angry. But he’s not on any other channel.” @n69n added: “Moore is going to bully his way into being seated.”
