St Mirren A good deal

-

It looks like it has finally happened. Lewis Morgan’s future was always going to lie somewhere more glamorous than Ferguslie Park in Paisley, with Celtic now looking like his destination. A special player, who will undoubtedly surprise many with just how naturally talented he his.

In my 18 years as a season-ticket holder, I have never seen a player who can change a game quite like Morgan, with his turn of pace, excellent delivery and ability to finish with either foot. A £300k fee, sell-on clause as well as a loan until the end of the season (when his contract ends and he could have left for nothing) is a good deal for both parties, as well as young Lewis – who could end up with a league winner’s medal if this Saints team fulfils its potential.
