Real bad jump in food losses

Real Good Food, the diversifie­d food business, posted deeper interim losses of £6.7 million yesterday from £900,000 in the same period of 2016.

Net debt at end-september jumped to £35.8m from £14.3m a year earlier, it said. Real Good Food, including retail and wholesalin­g arms, said further “substantia­l” funding will be required over the next year.
