What’s the last piece of clothing you bought?

A huggably soft brushed cotton winter shirt called The Nutter, by US West Coast-based brand Chubbies. They’re an entertaining brand to follow on social media (check out their team skiing in T-rex costumes for starters).

What are you addicted to buying?

Shorts, especially those multipurpose ones for running/swimming/life etc. I’d gladly wear them in a blizzard.

Best ever bargain?

A suede sheepskin-lined winter coat I found at Armstrong’s on Edinburgh’s Grassmarket for £30.

Who has great style?

Explorer, climber and ex-army man Levison Wood has the “smart-rugged” look down to a tee. It would be great to see him wearing FIDIR.

Name your favourite high street shop.

I honestly don’t have one, but I do like unearthing gems in vintage shops.

Any fashion disasters you’d care to tell us about?

On my first day of work after university, I dropped my phone. Then, when picking it up, I tore my trousers right up the middle with no time to go home and change.

What’s your favourite item in your wardrobe?

Right now, my FIDIR Henley shirt (in blue) – the heavy cotton and rugged cut make for a perfect autumnal top. It’s flattering on the arms and shoulders too. n
