- By ANDREW WOODCOCK

Theresa May has named a Welsh whisky as her favourite Christmas drink.

The Prime Minister was among senior politicians who picked a festive tipple for the website Politico. She said she was planning to enjoy a glass of Penderyn, distilled in the foothills of the Brecon Beacons, on “those (hopefully) quiet winter evenings”.

Teetotal Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn said he would be drinking apple juice “like most days”, adding: “On Christmas Day, I make sure it’s a particularly good one.” 0 Jeremy Corbyn chooses a good apple juice for Christmas
