Christmas tree may have caused hotel blaze
A fire at the historic Cameron House hotel which claimed the lives of two men may have been started by a Christmas tree in the main reception.
Staff are understood to have raised the alarm after informing emergency operators the 12-foot high decorative tree in the main reception area of the hotel on the banks of Loch Lomond was ablaze at around 6:40am last Monday morning.
TV producer Richard Dyson, 38, and his partner Simon Midgley, 32, a PR Manager died in the blaze.
An SFRS spokesman said they were investigating.
