Nesting with the birds: Couple to move to island and share new home with 10,000 guillemots
Francesca Clair and Craig Nisbeen have been appointed seasonal rangers at the Handa Island wildlife reserve off the west coast of Sutherland by the Scottish Wildlife Trust.
The island is internationally important for seabirds including guillemots, with an estimated 100,000 visiting every year. The couple will live on Handa from March to September and be joined by up to 56 volunteers over the summer.
