Our report of a plaque being unveiled to commemorate James Kennedy, who was posthumously awarded the George Cross after being shot dead in a payroll robbery (22 December) incorrectly described the site at Springburn in Glasgow as a former railway engineering works, when it continues to operate, now under the Knorr-bremse Group. l It is the policy of The Scotsman to correct errors as soon as is practicable. l All complaints concerning The Scotsman should be made to Euan Mcgrory at emcgrory@scotsman.com in the first instance.
