Inquiry into bodies discovered in Kelso

Two people have been found dead in a house in the Scottish Borders.

The bodies of a man in his fifties and a woman in her forties were discovered at a property in Ladyrig View in the village of Heiton, near Kelso, about 3pm on Boxing Day.

Forensic officers examined the scene yesterday. Police said the deaths were being treated as unexplained.

Winning numbers in last night’s Lotto draw were 18, 36, 48, 57, 58 and 59, with bonus ball 50.
