Hamilton Accies Tricky test coming up

Well that was a bit rubbish. We travelled to Firhill with reasonable hope of establishing a nine-point lead over bottom position but ended up losing a drab match.

Accies certainly didn’t deserve to lose but if you don’t score you can’t have any complaints. I think we’re virtually back to full strength now and capable of competing against all bar the very best in the league, so I’m not too pessimistic about the remainder of the season. After last night’s postponement we now have a tricky game against the dangerous Motherwell before the mid-season break, during which Ioannis Skondras’s fate will be decided. The transfer window will open and we might see some comings and goings. Hopefully we will come out of it with our best players still on the books.
