Motherwell Moult proving a big miss

- Derek Wilson

A season is 38 games long but, occasionally, it can be summed up in a single match. Leaving Fir Park on Saturday, after our battling draw with Dundee, there was a feeling that we saw a preview of the second half of our campaign inside 90 minutes: it will be grim but we will survive if we can keep our key players fit.

There is no surprise that, without Louis Moult, we are lacking a cutting edge going forward but the players continued to give everything. Even when down to ten men and with Peter Hartley and Trevor Carson visibly struggling, we fought tooth and nail – Dundee may have deserved to win but we did not deserve to lose.

The Premiership has its critics but it is undeniably a hard division.
