Ross County New faces needed

- John Maxwell

I’m still seething from Saturday’s loss at Hibs. I don’t expect Ross County to go to Easter Road and outplay them, but I do expect a bit of dig, tenacity and at least some passages of play to put pressure on the home side.

That rarely happened and, while Billy Mckay’s late disallowed goal would have seen County escape with a point, it would have been undeserved. There are problems all over the pitch, but particularly at left-back and central midfield where Owen Coyle is repeatedly losing battles to his opponents. Up front is a concern, too, with four strikers in the squad and none of them able to play up front on their own, which is required. Coyle has a lot of work to do in the transfer window.
