Ayr rocked by gutsy Loons
Table-topping Ayr United looked all set for a home win over bottom outfit Forfar when Lawrence Shankland put them two ahead, but the Loons left with a 3-2 win.
Jordan Hornby curled in a free-kick, then Matty Aitken scored twice in the last seven minutes. Forfar manager Jim Weir said: “The players all showed what can be achieved through hard work.”

Queen’s Park and Albion Rovers drew 2-2, the Spiders cruising after 11 minutes thanks to Jack Iredale’s header and Adam Cummins’ penalty only for Alan Trouten and Joao Vitoria to strike in the final 90 seconds.
