Man held over camper van theft at showroom

A man has been detained in connection with the theft of a camper van from a car showroom.

Police appealed for witnesses after the vehicle was driven through Aitkenwalker’s showroom window on Berwick Road in Duns at about 2am yesterday.

The grey Vauxhall Caravelle has now been recovered.

Police thanked the media and the public for their assistance.
