#STORMELEANOR

Flood warnings were put in place across Scotland after Storm Eleanor swept across the country. As the storm made landfall across the British Isles, at least 50,000 homes reportedly lost power. @Keeley_jane said: “Very windy? It’s still blowing and howling the same, if not worse than 3am this morning!” @Gavindaniel1 added: “Flood warnings issued and the locals still park cars that close to the river ???? ” @Darrenbootcamp said: “You always get one idiot who thinks his car is an army all terrain vehicle.” @thelifeboatcrew added: “It’s incredibly windy out there, people – which makes the coast a particularly dangerous place to be. Please keep well clear of breaking waves and stay safe.”

#TRUMP

Donald Trump has responded to the North Korean leader’s claims that he has a nuclear launch button on his desk at all times. President Trump took to Twitter to say that he has his own nuclear button that is “much bigger and more powerful”. @ericpape said: “The President of the United States of America is bragging – no joke – about the size of his nuclear button.” @tonyposnanski added: “What if Donald Trump confuses the nuclear war button on his desk with the ‘someone get me a Diet Coke’ button on his desk?” @ohbubbels said: “This is an adult man in charge of an entire country and I’m not even surprised.”

#CBB

The Celebrity Big Brother house is currently femaleonly to mark 100 years of women getting the vote in the UK. Some people, however, felt it could have done with a bit more diversity. @sanjaysoodsmith said: “I’m all for the all female series of Celebrity Big Brother and great that there is some representation from the LGBT community. The ethnic diversity’ however’ is somewhat disappointing.” @Onceuponasophie added: “It’s not perfect by any means, but I’m pleasantly surprised at the diversity of the #CBB lineup.” @Officialdebra said: “I would have loved a bit more diversity. There are so many more women who have accomplished so MUCH from different backgrounds.”
