Partick Thistle Building momentum

Thistle finished the year off with a fine 2-0 win which ensured that we moved off the bottom of the table going into 2018. After last week’s midweek defeat, it was vital to finish on a high and the boys produced a good performance to run out comfortable winners over Ross County. Our home form has been excellent recently, with five wins out of our last six, and it will be important to keep that going.

However, we must improve our form away, where we have yet to win in the league. It is ironic that, despite our results at times this season, we find ourselves closer to the top six than we were at this stage last season. With players returning from injury after the break – and possibly a new signing – things look a lot better.
