Another week, another refereeing controversy – and yet another red card. Given that in three successive games we have finished with 10 men, there is clearly a problem with discipline or the refereeing. The main complaint fans have is inconsistency. Vigurs received his first yellow on Saturday for shirt pulling, yet others did this throughout the game unpunished.

This was also David Raven’s last home game. The term ‘legend’ is overused, but David must have been touched by the genuine affection displayed by the ICT faithful. He will always be remembered for his semi-final Scottish Cup goal versus Celtic, although he missed the final through suspension. Everyone connected with the club will wish him and his family all the best.
