Queen of the South Give us strength

- Neil Cameron

The Queens defenders carried on in Falkirk where they had left off against St Mirren. The hosts hadn’t scored for over eight hours, yet managed three goals in the first 45 minutes. Although we managed to peg it back to a onegoal deficit, it was too late to stop the hosts picking up their first victory under Paul Hartley.

Tuesday’s goalless draw with Dumbarton helped steady the ship. The inconsistency of those around us means that we are still in play-off contention despite these setbacks.

January signings now look like a necessity rather than a luxury. James Mcfadden has left the club after his contract expired, and St Johnstone require the services of loanees Chris Kane and Jason Kerr.
