Wellwishers have donated £12,000 after an eco-house featured on Grand Designs was destroyed in a fire. Simon and Jasmine Dale’s £27,000 home in a sustainable community in West Wales was labelled the “cheapest house ever built in the Western Hemisphere” on the Channel 4 show in 2016.
